Nutrition and Physical Degeneration, Weston A. Price
This book is a genuine classic. A dentist, Price travelled the world in search of groups of individuals who had not been modernised with the foods of the west, and who were subsisting entirely off their native and unmodified dietary habits. By comparing these cultures with their offspring who moved into more modern settings and adopting refined foods, Price was able to compare with great detail the changes in dental health and facial development. This work is in many ways more relevant today than it was when it was published well over 50 years ago, and paints the dim picture of what can happen when prenatal and infant nutrition is insufficient.
